Morals and values

Our team has always shared a few morals and values. To understand them, check out this page.

MORALS AND VALUES

Our team has always had a shared sense of morals and ethical values which we think has profoundly influenced the foundation upon which Firstclass was built, and we thought we'd share them with you. If you're the kind of person who finds philosophy boring, Spoiler Alert! You'll find a lot of it here!

SIMPLICITY

We believe simplicity is the fundamental essence of our lives. Simplicity is not the stripping of details or the absence of clutter and ornamentation. It's about bringing order to complexity. It's about establishing efficiency. In essence, simplicity is not a way of ignoring complexity. It is the ultimate guide for solving it.

What we discovered was, the process of simplicity was actually really tough. It was very easy to get lost in the complexity of our lives and the information around it, but extremely difficult to distill that information down to the very essence of it. Still, the hardwork was worth it! Simplicity can not only make information more appealing and beautiful but it can connect with people in a way science or logic cannot explain.

Firstclass was built upon this foundation of simplicity. We believe, the free flow of information can be efficient only when they are simple, yet engaging with the right amount of information presented the right way.

RIGHT TO INFORMATION

We believe information and knowledge are basic fundamental rights of everyone. No one can be denied access to any particular information based on any grounds or categorisation. It is this free flow of thoughts and thought processes that paves way for the progress of every individual and ultimately mankind as a whole.

The flow of information should always and forever be free. No price should be imposed on an individual's basic right. Firstclass and its content will always be free. We do not plan to make our readers pay for access or extort money by means of subscription. So rest assured. We will always be accessible by anybody and everybody.

We believe we owe it to ourselves to bridge any form of gap that exists in the modern era of expression and consumption of information and we really hope this can help pave the way for a better tomorrow.

PRIVACY

We take privacy pretty seriously. We believe the advent of the internet age has enabled an individual's privacy to be taken for granted, explicitly capitalising upon that person's lack of awareness towards the subject. We are against this practice. We strongly condemn it.

At Firstclass, any article that you send to us will be kept and maintained anonymous. We will provide credits and acknowledge the author if and only if he/she wishes to do so. Our website does not gather personal information or monitor personal activity. We have built this site using Squarespace and only the analytics that they offer will be considered by us. Our feedback section allows you to provide criticisms and viewpoints at complete discretion. We have no means of finding out who you are otherwise.

We will never indulge in any behind the scenes activity that can hamper any individual's privacy on any level whatsoever. Period.
