OUR MISSION

The field of medicine is immense and can intimidate even the smartest of the lot. But beyond this layer of complexity lies an ocean of knowledge that has spiked the fascination and curiosity of the human mind for centuries. Unfortunately this fascination towards the subject seems to be lost in the students of medicine today.

Medicine, unfortunately is no longer understood and enjoyed the way it was meant to be.

We wanted to do something about it.

Firstclass was born out of our amazement and innate curiosity towards all things medicine. We wanted to infuse that sense of delight - that giddy happiness of understanding something for the first time - into our fellow colleagues.

We really hope we can rekindle that sense of wonder and awe in the minds of present day students. We hope, they in turn, will spread the joy of this vast yet delightful subject.

So where do we start?

We decided to start with topics that ticked our curiosity and got us thinking! 

Our goal is to satisfy that curiosity and scratch that itch in the most comprehensive way possible. We hope to be posting regularly in our articles section. Hopefully, with constant feedback from you, our readers, we will have the opportunity to bring more obscure topics to light and also

So what is our end game?

Our ultimate vision for this venture is to build a community of minds who are incredibly passionate about the subject and are willing to let the world know why they are so passionate. We want to act as a forum for that free flow of thoughts between people and act as a bridge between people who love to teach and people who love to learn.

The field of medicine is ripe with many passionate people and creative minds, and we want to bring them together under one roof.

So what do we do next?

We have decided to open-source the articles section. People who read our articles and think they have something to contribute, are more than welcome to share their knowledge with the rest of the world. We have built a dedicated page for users to upload their content through multiple ways. We believe we can truly change the perspective of this subject by making it accessible and simple, and we hope we trigger that spark of curiosity within the young minds of this generation.
